The spiral wound technique was originally derived from the U.S. military, for application of armored vehicles, tanks and other military vehicles.In 2006, Topin firstly introduced this new technique ,which breaked the monopoly of other brand battery and can be replaced completely. Meanwhile ,we have gained several patent certificates for this battery technique.
By using the alloy with very high hydrogen to form the pallet with a special processing manufacturing grid, stepped by suitable matching process of the positive and negative active material quality, making the negative hydrogen evolution process to be maximumly inhibited. Meanwhile, the excessive oxygen generated by positive over-charge reaches the cathode, make reaction with the lead there ,and result in water. The water is protected from loss and achieves maintenance free of battery.
The cranking current can be as 3 times high as normal VRLA battery, part of which is a good replacement for super capacitor. The maximum current is as high as 900A under -18℃.The minimum starting times is 12000, 3 times than that of normal VRLA battery. It is still workable after storage of 250days, and also workable in temperature ranges from -40℃to 65℃. Its starting time can be as short as 0.6 seconds.Its service life is over 4 times than that of normal VRLA battery. Moreover, it can stand 4G(33HZ) vibration for 12 hours and 6G vibration for 4 hours.
